Founder and Lead Instructor of Boston LSAT

Samuel was born in Seoul, South Korea, and raised in both Korean and American public school systems, giving him a deep understanding of cross-cultural education. A magna cum laude graduate of New York University, Samuel began his career as a journalist in Seoul, working as a newspaper reporter and freelance producer for a major American television network.

Samuel's LSAT teaching journey began at Pagoda Academy, one of South Korea's largest private educational institutions. There, he specialized in coaching Korean college students aspiring to attend law school in the United States. Recognizing the unique language challenges his students faced, Samuel developed a teaching approach that simplifies the complexities of the LSAT, breaking down concepts into clear, accessible lessons. This method has enabled many of his students, especially those for whom English is a second language, to achieve impressive results, with scores consistently in the mid-160s and higher.

After completing his first year at Harvard Law School, Samuel discovered his true passion for teaching and made the bold decision to dedicate himself fully to LSAT education. Now, as the founder of Boston LSAT, Samuel is committed to helping students from diverse backgrounds master the LSAT and achieve their law school dreams.
